Welcome to the Teamster Local #399 Reunion web page. We have developed this web site to communicate with the retirees from Teamsters Local #399 and be able to see and meet with old friends and share what is happening during our retirement years. Since 2008 we have held reunions in Las Vegas, Nevada. The last two years they ahve been held at the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino on West Flamingo Blvd (across the steet from the Rio Hotel). The reunions are always scheduled for the Monday, Tuesday & Wednesdays after the Labor Day holiday weekend.
We have made changes to the web page to make it more helpful. We have added and updated many of the features.
All the reunions have been "great" fun and have been getting larger and better each year. Last year we had 85 retirees and guests attending. If you go to the "Photo Gallery" you can see all the happy smiling faces of everyone having a wonderful time of all the reunions. Telling old stories and remembering all the times we spent together working in the movie industry. Made us feel 20 years younger. There is a ticket fee for the reunion of $75.00 per person. This fee pays for the Monday night reception appetizers and dinner. Tuesday and Wednesday breakfast and all bowling fees.
Since Labor Day 2014 falls on September 1, 2014 the next Reunion is scheduled for September 8, 9 & 10, 2014. Please ask anyone you know who has been to one of the Reunions and they will tell you it should not be missed. There will be a three hour reception with appetizers and dinner on Monday night. Tuesday morning 8:00 to 10:00 AM there will be a breakfast. This will be followed with a Bowling Tournament and Happy Hour from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Then from 8:00 to 10:00 AM on Wednesday morning a "Goodbye Gathering" last chance to meet and have coffee and breakfast and say "Good bye till next year".
It is very important that everyone register in the "Registration Section". The planning of this reunion is not possible without an estimate of the number who plan to attend. Blocking of hotel rooms, the arrangements for food and seating are all based on your registering.
Once you have registered, monthly newsletters and emails will be sent to you advising you of the arrangements as they are made. Also you need to check this web page during the year because we will be adding features and updates to the site.
